The Japanese start-up, IThEMS, successfully agrees with Czech experts to collaborate on key technologies to realize a miniFUJI.
IThEMS, which we have reported before, has made a successful visit to molten salt experts in the Czech Republic.
After five days of discussions and negotiations, IThEMS and the Czech side concluded and signed memorandum which lays a foundation for collaboration towards the realization of a miniFUJI in practical use in a near future.
According to the memorandum, IThEMS expects particularly MSR technology for the use of Thorium fuel, structural material and components development.
IThEMS explained its full technology development strategy and Czech side expressed that such technology development would give mutual benefit and further collaboration is welcome.
Keishiro says: “Now we are strengthened and will increase our efforts to complete and operate a miniFUJI in a near future.”
Keishiro is attending ThEC2010 to present more on this.
