She has a plan to power the entire United States, with zero carbon emissions, for the next 100 years while simultaneously getting rid of our mountains of nuclear waste. She was named as one of the '30 under 30 young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs' by Forbes. Mark MassieCo-founder, Chief Technology Officer Mark Massie has an S.M. degree in nuclear science and engineering from MIT, and an S.B. degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee. He has worked at TerraPower (a Bill Gates start-up) in Bellevue, WA, where he developed and implemented a method for calculating high-fidelity fuel compositions in travelling wave reactors. He has also worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he developed code for analyzing sodium fast reactors. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT, specializing in nuclear reactor core design.
