| ThEC15 will be the largest thorium conference to date with 300 participants (500 at the inaugural), more than 40 speakers (seeTentative Program) from over 20 different countries, and more than 100 poster presentations (see Accepted Abstracts). There will be a Sunday Reception, a conference Banquet and a visit to the Tarapur Reactor. The opening of the conference will be held by a very special Chief Guest, which we are honoured to have confirmed with the local organising committee. Nobel Laureate Prof. Carlo Rubbia will give us a scientific overview and Prof. Bjorn Stigson (former President of World Business Council for Sustainable Development) will provide a sustainability perspective. You will hear the latest from start-ups such as Steenkampskraal, Thor Energy, Flibe Energy, Copenhagen Atomics, Seaborg Technologies and Moltex.
